Former NAFCU Chair, Jim Mills, Plans Retirement

Jim Mills, the president of Three Rivers FCU here and a former chairman of NAFCU, said he will retire June 30. Prior to joining Three Rivers FCU, Mills spent 18 years (1967-1985) with NCUA in a variety of posts, before being named CEO at Three Rivers in 1985. During his tenure he's overseen growth to $413-million from $63 million in assets.

From 2000-01, Mills was chairman of NAFCU, and was also named Professional of the Year in Indiana. To acknowledge Mills' service, NCUA Chairman Dennis Dollar and NAFCU President Fred Becker were in attendance at the credit union's annual meeting.
