Synergent, a subsidiary of the Maine Credit Union League, has signed four credit unions in the state to new technology services agreements: Bath-based Midcoast FCU (10 years); Winslow-based Taconnet FCU (10 years); Sanford-based York County Federal Credit Union (seven years); and Rockland-based Knox County FCU (seven years). These agreements all extend current relationships between Synergent and these credit unions. In addition, Synergent said that Hampden-based Maine Savings FCU, the state's third largest credit union, signed a seven-year agreement for technology services with Synergent beginning in 2006.
Synergent began implementation of the new Episys data processing system in August 2004 and, to date, has converted ten credit unions to the new platform.
