Four North Carolina CDCUs Get $3.7 Million State Funding

DURHAM, N.C. – The North Carolina Minority Support Center, an organization supporting low-income credit unions, announced yesterday it is providing a $3.7 million in grants to its affiliated community development credit unions.

The funds were provided by the state through a grant to the Center.

Recipient CDCUs will receive the funds via capacity grants, investments, and deposits. Awards will be provided to First Legacy Community CU, Greater Kinston CU, Latino Community CU and Generations Community CU by year end.
