LANCASTER, Penn. – Four local credit unions have signed on to a new city program aimed at outreach to the area’s unbanked population.
The four credit unions joining BankOn Lancaster are: Lancaster Red Rose CU, Wheatland FCU, Citadel FCU and LANCO FCU.
The program is being organized by the United Way of Lancaster County and is partnering with banks and non-profits to provide opportunities for unbanked people to open bank accounts and receive free financial education.
