LYNN, Mass. – An unemployed Iraq War veteran was arrested Wednesday and charged with robbing the same branch of St. Jean’s CU four times over the past two months.

Derek Christensen, 34, apparently inebriated, was arrested at 4 a.m. on the steps of an apartment building across the street from the credit union, police said. He was holding about $500 cash in his pocket at the time.
Christensen allegedly robbed the credit union on Feb. 7, March 5, March 18 and March 25.
While Christensen was in custody, he apparently implicated himself to another prisoner.
"I'm going upstate for what I did... bank robbery," Christensen allegedly said.
"Are you the dude that robbed St. Jean's all those times?" the other prisoner allegedly asked.
"Yeah, that was me."
