Franklin Mint FCU joins the $1 billion-asset club

Franklin Mint FCU, headquartered in Broomall, Pa., near Philadelphia, has hit a significant milestone: the credit union recently surpassed $1 billion in total assets.

The credit union is currently the tenth-largest in the Keystone State, serving 80,000 members.

President and CEO John D. Unangst said in a statement that the achievement was the result of growth and diversification that not only grew their assets but also their membership, products, services and more over a sustained period of time.

“Our commitment to offer market-leading products and services, coupled with award-winning member service, are major factors in our growth,” he said. “Despite ebbs and flows of the economy and financial industry over four decades, FMFCU has never wavered from its singular focus of helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals.”
