Giant Navy Federal Project To Grow Some More

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Navy FCU is negotiating to purchase 240 acres at Escambia County’s 4-H Center which would be used to expand the credit union’s massive 52-acre call center, the biggest credit union facility in the world.

Credit union representatives are in tentative discussions with county officials to acquire the 4-H property, which is immediately north of the Heritage Oaks site. A public meeting will be held Tuesday night to discuss the potential sale.

The $45 billion credit union is in the process of completing the fourth building of its 650,000 square-foot call center. The $250 million project will employ more than 3,000 workers after completion.
