SPOKANE, Wash. Global CU is expanding its mobile suite with Mobile MoveIt, a person-2-person service driven by PayPal that gives members the ability to send money to almost anyone, anywhere from their mobile phone.

Members no longer have to write a check, visit the ATM, or stop by the credit union to transfer money, Global said. Now, member can sign in to their Global CU mobile app, select “MoveIt” and enter the recipient’s cell phone number or e-mail address.
Once the money is sent, the recipient logs in to his/her PayPal account to retrieve the funds. From there the recipient either can shop online or transfer the money to a financial account. If recipients do not have a PayPal account they can create one and then access their money.
