The suspect, dubbed the “Gone Plaid Bandit” because he wears plaid clothing during the heists, is believed to be the same man who struck an Irvine East West Bank and another bank in Anaheim Hills.

The man entered the credit union, approached a teller with a note claiming he was armed with a gun and demanded cash, according to police. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
