PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Greylock FCU said its Greylock Insurance Agency CUSO is partnering with Berkshire Life Insurance Co. of America to offer long-term care insurance at a 10% discount.
Berkshire Life, a wholly owned stock subsidiary of The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, entered the long term care insurance market in 2004 with its Care ProVider policy.
Greylock FCU, with almost $900 million in assets, has been building its insurance subsidiary through the acquisition of several local insurance agencies.
