TAMPA, Fla. Grow Financial FCU said it is the first financial institution in Florida to adopt new video teller services for its members, to be located at its new Wesley Chapel branch.
Members will be able to simply pull up to the drive through and press one button that will call a member service representative at the Grow Financial headquarters office to assist them. All of the same transactions that can take place in a regular drive through can take place in this new interactive atmosphere, the credit union said, including a text to chat option used in conjunction with the video and audio.
“We believe our members will find the experience easy and convenient," said Bob Fisher, president of the $2-billion credit union.
Other branches will be implementing ITM machines in the near future. Three Grow Financial branches located in the Tampa Bay area are scheduled to receive the ITM technology by the end of 2013, including the Hyde Park, South Tampa and New Tampa branches.
