GTE FCU Plans Branch In Underserved Neighborhood

TAMPA, Fla. – GTE FCU is hoping to build a new branch on a city-owned lot in the underserved midtown community in nearby St. Petersburg, known as the 22nd Street Corridor.

The lot is part of a redevelopment district that has grown substantially in recent years.

The credit union, which has been eyeing the neighborhood for as long as five years, plans a full-service 3,000 square-foot facility.
