GWINNETT, Ga. — Gwinnett Federal Credit Union has made a $50,000 donation to the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation Fund.
The gift is to the benefit of Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) academic initiatives over the next 10 years.
The credit union presented the gift during a surprise announcement as part of the 2011 Teacher of the Year banquet and is being made to help mark the $180-million credit union's 50th anniversary.
