KENNEWICK, Wash. – HAPO Community CU is dubbing itself the “Official Sponsor of Summer” by sponsoring a number of events.
The Tri-Cities events the credit union is sponsoring include the Water Follies Air Show, Live @ 5, Cool Desert Nights and River of Fire Festival. In the Yakima Valley it is sponsoring Cinco De Mayo, National Night Out, Sunnyside Fireworks show, Gap 2 Gap, 4th of July Celebration, Vintiques Car Show, and the Hot Shots 3 on 3 Tournament.
"We are from the Tri-Cities, started over 50 years ago. The community is doing so well, so we feel it's important we sponsor the main summer events and make sure people have a good time and enjoy the great life we have here," said Dave Schulz, president of the $850 million credit union.
