HarborOne CU Donates $15,000 To Buy Marching Band New Uniforms

BROCKTON, Mass. – HarborOne CU has contributed $15,000 to help the Brockton High School marching band buy new uniforms.

“We have long admired our award winning band,” said James Blake, president of the $1.8 billion credit union, “and we were looking for a way to express our appreciation.”

The existing uniforms are 22 years old, far older than the students wearing them. Each uniform costs $300, a total of $52,500 for all of the uniforms.

The Brockton High Music Department wants to purchase 175 new uniforms and is hosting a fundraising concert on November 7 at the school auditorium.
