HONOLULU – Hawaii Central CU announced the hiring of Gwen Lau as its new president/general manager.
Lau most recently was senior vice president and West O'ahu region manager for Central Pacific Bank and previously was with First Hawaiian Bank.
Hawaii Central is a $108 million credit union with more than 16,000 members.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
