Hiway FCU Gives Credit To Aggressive Ads

Hiway Federal Credit Union here is crediting an aggressive advertising campaign with boosting business. In its most recent campaign, HFCU states, "Ironically, the best place to bank in St. Paul is not a bank" and "4 out of 5 bankers fear us-the other one is a member."

Within the past year, Hiway expanded its FOM to the greater St. Paul area, and targeted potential members with billboard, print, and indoor media. The credit union said that during July it attracted 126 new members from the Greater St. Paul area, an increase of 42% from the previous year.
