Holiday Card Just For CUs Makes Its Debut

With the holiday season approaching, credit unions are being offered a new way to break through all the card clutter.

While many credit unions invest in cards and send greetings to SEG contacts, community leaders, members and others, those cards are often lost in the multitude of cards sent during the holidays, notes the company offering the fresh option.

"No more will you have to order generic holiday cards that simply water down your brand," said Paul Lucas, a former credit union marketer and well-known marketing and branding consultant who works with credit unions. "The fact is consumer brand awareness is at its highest during the holidays and building your brand awareness during this time is a very smart marketing and communications choice."

Lucas is partnering in the effort at www.cuholidaycards.com with David Ostroff, a graphic designer who frequently works with credit unions. "We created this service because our CU/CUSO clients have asked for years for a source to provide affordable customized Holiday cards to build brand awareness, goodwill, PR, media and community interest," said Lucas.

The cards are available in both traditional print and electronic form and can be customized to each credit union. Turnaround time is approximately two weeks.
