HOLYOKE, Mass.-With winter chills here, Holyoke CU is offering a cold remedy with its "Cold Remedy Loan" program to help members pay heating costs.

The unsecured loan is fixed at 5.99% APR with a 12-month term.
"Like all of us, our members are justifiably concerned about the cost of heating their homes this winter," the CU said. "Even now, the projections are ominous and scary, and no one wants to worry about having enough fuel for the winter."
All members with a checking account at Holyoke Credit Union can apply for the loan.
