RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif.-Much of the R&D at CO-OP Financial Services is being directed toward image-deposit services.
By year-end, CO-OP will have a teller capture program along with mobile deposit, said Eric Porter, EVP-business development and marketing. "Mobile is really taking off. As I look in our pipeline, the increase in opportunities for home deposit and mobile have doubled in the last 12 months."
The company is also launching an improved ATM content manager with full remote marketing message delivery capability. "We have some of that now," Porter said. "But this will make it easier for credit unions to handle marketing by individual ATM."
"Full remote marketing capability allows a CU, on the fly, to change marketing messages remotely by individual ATM," Porter told Credit Unoin Journal. "For example, if the credit union has an ATM in a certain area of town or where the membership is a little bit different and wants to run a special offer, they can do that."
CO-OP will continue to enhance mobile services to include bill pay and account alerts. Porter noted that its newly acquired call center is seeing a great deal of activity and interest, especially for processing loan applications and wrap-around call services. He said Co-Op expects to expand into outbound calling.
