Credit union employees across the state are being urged to support small businesses by dining locally for breakfast and lunch, and also buying gifts and other items at local retail stores. In Flint, Mich., for example, Dort FCU is planning to buy lunch for its 160 employees from six local restaurants. Christian Financial CU is reimbursing employees up to $10 each to lunch local on Oct. 16.
