TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State University CU said it is launching a special account for engaged couples to provide family and friends with a "gift registry" for their wedding.

The credit union’s "Matri-Money Savings Account" will allow couples to register with a department store, then receive cards to put in wedding invitations or announcements and allow guests to deposit their monetary gift into the account.
Couples receive the money one business day after the wedding, and the money earns one-percent interest.
