SANTA ROSE, Calif. - (07/01/03) -- A local man was arrested last weekand charged with fraudulently selling thousands of dollars goodsover the eBay Internet auction site and laundering the fundsthrough his account at Health Care FCU. Dustin Sofge,21, allegedly bilked almost two dozen prospective buyers inCalifornia and eight other states between March 4 and June 26.Sofge allegedly used five addresses to receive payments between$1,000 and $2,000 but never provided any of the promised items tothe victims.
