DES MOINES, Iowa – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded a $342,000 grant to the Iowa CU Foundation to help it finance the CU Family Partnership Individual Development Account program.

Twelve Iowa credit unions have been chosen to pilot the program, which provides matching funds to qualified low–income people to help them start a savings account. The pilot program is expected to launch this summer.
The participants are: ACE Community CU, Affinity CU, Ascentra CU, Cedar Falls Community CU, Community 1st CU, Dupaco Community CU, DuTrac Community CU, Employees CU, Family Community CU, Linn Area CU, Marine CU and Veridian CU.
