Iowa’s Coopera Offers Strategies On Expanding Hispanic Membership

DES MOINES, Iowa -- Coopera, a consulting group owned by the Iowa CU League that offers credit unions advise on reaching Hispanic communities, has signed advisory contracts with four New York credit unions to take part in the inaugural Hispanic Member Growth Strategy Program.

Through this program, Coopera will work with New York credit unions to identify Hispanic outreach opportunities within their neighborhoods and create affordable banking alternatives to meet the needs of this community.

The New York credit unions signing with Coopera are: Cooperative FCU in Syracuse, Entertainment Industries FCU in New York City, Bridgeway FCU in Poughkeepsie and MSBA Employees FCU in Rockville Centre.
