Internet services provider Online Resources Corp. said net losses for its fiscal second quarter rose slightly to $148,000, or a penny a share, from $133,000, or a penny a share, for the same period last year, despite a 7% rise in revenues to $8.4 million for the period.
The second quarter results included a $181,000 one-time charge related to the company's early retirement of $3.9 million in long-term debt.
The company, which recently an electronic bill payment deal with U.S. Central CU and its corporate members, reported a 21% increase in revenues for the first six months of the year to $19.4 million, and a net profit for the first half of $2 million, or 13 cents a share, compared to a loss of $940,000, or seven cents a share, for the first half last year.
