WASHINGTON – NAFCU and online security provider Digital Defense are inviting credit union security professionals to compete in the first Credit Union Extreme Hacker Challenge that will highlight new and emerging security measures during NAFCU’s annual Technology and Security Conference in Las Vegas next month.

Participants will be broken up into teams in a ‘capture-the-flag-type’ competition, with increasingly difficult challenges in an opportunity to be legal hackers for a day.
"This is a great way for credit union security teams to test their skills against their colleagues. In addition to bragging rights, there will even be prizes for the top competitors," said David Frankil, president of NAFCU Services Corporation, which is sponsoring the hacker competition.
Digital Defense is an online security provider that focuses on credit unions.
The NAFCU Tech Conference is Feb. 25-28 and is open to both NAFCU members and non-members.
