ATLANTA-VSoft Corporation reported that San Jose, Calif.-based Meriwest Credit Union has selected its back counter, teller and ATM remote deposit capture (RDC) solutions. In need of a replacement for its in-house system, Meriwest chose to deploy VSoft's suite of RDC solutions via a Software as a Service model.

Summit Installs IBT's CUBS
MADISON, Wis.-The $1.7-billion Summit CU has installed IBT's CUBS Credit Union Branch Capture forward presentments technology to connect its 24 branches with the main office. Branches scan their checks to create a digital deposit, which is sent directly to the correspondent in the early evening. Images are available for immediate viewing at every branch. IBT is based in Cedar Park, Texas.
Riverland Opts For Geezeo
NEW ORLEANS-Riverland CU has signed with Geezeo for its personal financial management and web-based marketing platform. The $175-million credit union has purchased Geezeo's integrated white label PFM solution and engagement banking solution.

Dwolla Unveils 'Instant' Feature
DES MOINES, Iowa-Dwolla has released a new feature through a partnership with TMG Financial Services called "Instant," an opt-in feature that gives users access to cash instantly and avoids the two- to three-day waiting period for transfer of funds. Previously, users could only initiate an immediate transfer of funds if they had money in their Dwolla account. Instant is an opt-in feature available to all users for $3 per month. When a user chooses Instant, Dwolla extends a line of credit up to $500. No additional fees are charged for the first 30 days following the Instant transfer. If the Instant balance is not paid back in 30 days, the user will pay a $5 fee per month for every month he carries an Instant balance. Dwolla also offers Instant users the option to initiate repayment from a linked account immediately following the Instant transfer.
