Citadel FCU Switches Online Bill Pay

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.-Citadel Federal Credit Union is converting more than 9,000 online bill payment subscribers from its current solution to PSCU Financial Services' PayLynx, the company announced. The Thorndale, Penn. based FCU, which has 110,000 members and controls $1.1 billion in assets, is making the switch this summer. "PayLynx will offer our members several new features that deliver a more convenient and secure online bill paying experience," Citadel said. According to PSCU, PayLynx features a single sign-on from the credit union web site and the ability for members to control the payment date and initiate next day payments through a central payment hub.

Harland And EVault Sign 40 Clients

EMERYVILLE, Calif.-Just over a year since EVault and Harland Financial solutions announced their partnership, the firms have signed more than 40 Harland Financial's existing core system clients to utilize the new Data Storage Solutions, powered by EVault, a Seagate subsidiary, The partnership enables credit unions to back up their business-critical data, including all UNIX and Window applications, databases and systems, to Harland Financial Solutions' state-of-the-art services center, the companies said.

Fiserv Launches Mobile Money

BROOKFIELD, Wis.-Fiserv has launched Fiserv Mobile Money, a mobile banking and payments solution that it says supports consumers on all three mobile access modes-short messaging service, wireless application protocol and downloaded mobile applications. The solution offers online and off-line enrollment capabilities and integrates with core banking, online banking and electronic payments systems, Fiserv said.

The solution is available via an in-house solution for the top 200 financial institutions. A hosted version is expected by mid-2009.
