ATLANTA-VSoft Corporation has created a new capture solution, Agile Home/Office, for consumers and small businesses and demonstrated the new technology at a conference in September. Agile Home/Office is a browser based application in which users log on to the Internet and a small scanner captures images and data from deposit documents. As the items are captured, they are automatically validated against the rules put into place by their financial institutions.

IMM Scoops Up Nevada FCU

LINDEN, N.J.-Integrated Media Management, a document output management and automation technology provider, has signed a deal with Las Vegas-based Nevada FCU to deploy the firm's TotaleAtlas and TotaleReceipts solutions, which should cut down on the credit union's paper usage. "Once all 23 of our branches are live with IMM's solutions, we anticipate seeing a reduction of more than $200,000 a year in paper, courier expenses, document storage and staffing," said a Nevada FCU SVP.

Vendor Offers Freeware Version

SUPERIOR, Colo.-StillSecure, a provider of secure network infrastructure solutions, is now offering a freeware version of its vulnerability management platform. VAM Lite, as the application is know, scans up to 100 infrastructure and endpoint devices to determine vulnerability levels, then automatically prioritizes them by severity and device importance so users can give immediate attention to the most critical threats.

The product is essentially a scaled-back version of the commercially available StillSecure VAM, which has been out in the marketplace for some time.

DALLAS-Zix Corporation and Code Green Networks have collaborated to produce an integrated data loss prevention based email encryption solution. The application provides DLP across network channels with encryption service to secure sensitive e-mail information.
