Synergent Signs 4 Maine CUs
WESTBROOK, Maine-Synergent signedfour credit unions to 10-year agreements that extends each CU's relationship with Synergent's technology services division. The four credit unions, all in Maine, are: Community CU, Waterville; KSW FCU, Waterville; New Dimensions FCU, Waterville; and Sabattus Regional CU, Sabattus.
Synergent began implementation of the new Symitar system in August 2004 and, to date, Synergent has converted 35 credit unions to Symitar platform and is now processing more than 320,000 members in New England.

IA Systems Partners With VINtek
ALBANY, N.Y.-Lending software provider IA Systems formed a strategic partnership with Philadelphia-based VINtek. The partnership will integrate IA Systems' loan processing system, StreamLend Velocity, with VINtek's VINtekTIME, a paperless and paper title tracking system.

S1 Corp. Incorporates Standard
New York-S1 Corporation said the EPN STP 820 remittance information standard will be incorporated into its cash management solution, S1 Enterprise Corporate Banking.
The standard allows transmittal of detailed remittance information with electronic ACH payments and allows recipients to automatically record the transactions into their internal accounting systems.

Pillar Wins Campus USA Contract
SAN JOSE, Calif.-Network storage provider Pillar Data Systems announced that Campus USA Credit Union, Gainseville, Fla., has chosen its Pillar Axiom storage system to store important financial documents.
Campus USA bought one system earlier this year and and recently expanded and upgraded it, with plans to add off-site back-up in the future.

Users Signs 54 CUs by Mid Year
VALLEY FORGE, Penn.-Fiserv unit USERS Incorporated reported that through the first half of the year, 54 credit union clients recommitted to the core processor through contract renewals or upgrades.
Thirty-one credit unions renewed their DataSafe On-Line core processing contracts and 23 clients contracted for major hardware upgrades, primarily to upgrade the HP hardware that powers the supplier's core processing system.

Instranet Integrates SAP
CHICAGO-InStranet, Inc. said its Contact Centers In-Line (CCIL) application version 5.1 has been successfully tested to integrate with the SAP NetWeaver platform, thus earning "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" status.
To achieve this status, InStranet has demonstrated that CCIL can be successfully deployed on a J2EE-based deployment of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server Release 6.40 and is accessible via the SAP NetWeaver Portal, officials said.
