CheckFree Chooses TriCipher
SAN MATEO, Calif.-TriCipher, Inc. announced the signing of CheckFree Investment Services for its Armored Credential System, a multi-factor authentication solution. CheckFree will use TriCipher to increase security for money managers and financial advisor clients. Clients can opt to use different layers of protection from additional challenge questions to temporary passcodes or USB memory tokens.

FHHFCU Converts To USERS
HOOLEHUA, Hawaii-First Hawaiian Homes Federal Credit Union here has converted its core processors to USERS DataSafe system on January 1, 2006.
First Hawaiian officials say in the future the conversion will allow the $2.3 million CU to offer its own ATMs and debit cards to its 996 members.

FMS Acquires Lobby Tracking
LAS VEGAS-Financial Management Systems, Inc., a provider of branch performance management systems to credit unions and banks, has reached an agreement with Trust Data Solutions, LLC to acquire Lobby Tracking, a web-based lobby management system that tracks member interactions, streamlines lobby traffic, and provides a "virtual view" of branch lobby activity.
The system tracks branch officer and client interactions through an easy-to-use web interface, enabling managers and executives to monitor performance of staff and address service wait-times and other service related metrics. The quick view of the lobby queue and real-time reporting tools provide management with minute-by-minute details on wait times, officer/client interaction, session/transaction duration, and lobby volume. FMS plans to market the acquired software under the product name Lobby Tracking System.
SFCU Signs With Cyveillance
SACRAMENTO, Calif.-Schools Financial CU has signed with Cyveillance to implement the company's online risk monitoring and management solutions to protect members against online fraud.
Cyveillance will provide the $1.2 billion credit union with customized phishing detection services, domain registration alerts, suspect email incident alerts, suspect URL alerts and pharming/IP address change alerts.
Barksdale Signs With Fidelity
BOSSIER CITY, La.-Barksdale FCU has signed a five-year contract with Fidelity National Information Services to run the company's MISER core processing system.
The $600-million credit union has processed its credit card portfolio with FIS since 1984. Under the new deal, Barksdale FCU will integrate the MISER core processing system with its FIS card processing platform.
CU Signs For Identity Theft 911
WATERVILLE, Me.-New Dimensions FCU has added the comprehensive identity theft prevention and resolution service provided by Identity Theft 911. The services will be provided free to members. The services include monitoring of credit after an identity theft incident, notification of credit bureaus, creditors and collectors, and active alerts and education.
TriCipher Upgrades Product
SAN MATEO, Calif.-TriCipher Inc., the provider of online authentication systems, said it has upgraded its flagship product, the TriCipher Armored Credential System, with a partitioning feature called Realm ID that allows financial institutions to manage thousands of customer communities or applications on a single infrastructure.
Realm ID enable organizations to set up distinct partitions, or "realms" that allow them to deploy custom authentication controls across separate applications, user communities or financial institutions.
Such distinct communities may include online bill pay or cash management, for example. Realm ID allows the organization to manage authentication on individual realms based on who the user is, where they're logging in from, or the nature of their transaction.
