League Redesigns Website

The North Carolina Credit Union League (NCCUL) has launched a new website.

"The League thought strategically about the planning and rolling out of the new web site," said Tracey Michael, NCCUL's assistant VP- marketing and PR, who led the website redesign. "Websites say a lot about an organization, and we wanted to develop a resource that really reflected the commitment we have to credit unions in North Carolina."

According to the league, the new web site assists credit union people in finding and sharing information with ease. Included in the design mix are a comprehensive, searchable compliance resource area; an events calendar featuring online registration; a governmental affairs section updating the latest news affecting credit unions on the political front; and a complete public relations and marketing section to assist credit unions in their public relations efforts.

The new web site is part of an overall communications strategy the league said it is implementing this year. NCCUL began sending a weekly e-mail update in March. The Weekly Update features news items from the League and credit unions across the state. "The Weekly Update has helped people see what the League and other credit unions are doing," said Michael. "The new web site will help us in our efforts to communicate clearly and consistently with credit union people."
