LEOMINSTER, Mass. – A book drive spearheaded by Leominster CU and 46 area credit unions collected 18,704 children’s books that will be donated to area non-profit agencies.
Employees and members of Leominster CU donated 543 books to the annual event, called Make A Difference.
Since 2001, almost 210,000 books have been donated.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
