BRAINTREE, Mass. – Liberty Bay CU has one way for drivers to beat the high cost of gas – it is giving away one free tank of gas to anyone who visits the local Sunoco station between noon and 1 p.m. on Friday.
The event is part of a broader summer promotion aimed at attracting new credit union members. Liberty Bay is offering a gift certificate for one free tank of gas to any new customer who opens an account at the credit union’s Braintree, Boston and Stoneham locations by Labor Day.
No purchase is necessary, although the gas will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis. The credit union said a line can begin forming at 11:30 a.m.
