WATERFORD, N.Y. - (02/17/05) A loan officer at SilliconeEmployees FCU, merged last year into nearby Capital CommunicationsFCU, was charged Tuesday with stealing $60,000 from the creditunion through phony loans. Janet Marsh-Amoroso, 47, worked at thecredit union for 15 years. Suspicions of the embezzlement and therelated loan losses forced the credit union into last year'smerger.
