JACKSON, Miss. The FBI has launched a nationwide search for a man who has robbed at least 10 institutions across Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas, including three credit unions.

The robber is dubbed the “Loan Ranger Bandit” because he is seen on surveillance videos wearing a Texas Rangers baseball cap and he robs loan outlets.
The robberies including holdups at Altra FCU in Tyler, Texas on Aug. 31, 2011, Temple Santa Fe Community CU in Temple, Texas on October 4, 2011, and FedStar CU in College Station, Texas on Aug. 17, 2012.
