FARMINGDALE, N.Y. Teachers FCU opened its 25th branch and first in Nassau County in Merrick, signaling a new marketing push for New York’s second-largest credit union.
"Merrick symbolizes our initial foray into Nassau County, and we plan additional branches to provide financial services to our growing membership," said Robert Allen, president of the $4.8-billion credit union.
All of the credit union’s other branches are in Suffolk County.
