NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. – North Attleboro FCU said last week it has agreed to merge into nearby Sharon FCU, one of the Bay State’s largest credit unions.
The smaller credit union has just $17 million in assets and reported a $66,000 loss for last year. Sharon CU has almost $320 million in assets and serves Norfolk, Bristol, Suffolk, Middlesex, Plymouth and Barnstable counties, which covers most of the state.
The bank was determined, by multiple industry rankings and experts, to be the best mobile banking provider in the U.S.. Bank of America took second place.
