HARAHAN, La. - (08/23/05) Louisiana's shared branching network,CU Cooperative Branching, LLC (CUCB), has begun cashing non-memberpayroll and government checks at the Service Center locations inMetairie and Shreveport. The Louisiana league reported that CUCB iscurrently advertising this new venture on city buses, at busshelters and on bus benches in both English and Spanish. The costis just 1.5% at the Shreveport location and 2% at the Metairielocation.
