RALEIGH, N.C. Electel Cooperative FCU’s two-day St. Patrick’s Day “Lucky Loan” promotion, held Friday, March 15 and Monday, March 18, offered personal loans for 12 months at 1.9% or 24 months at 2.9%.
Total loans exceeded last year’s promotion, totaling $625,000 over a two-day period.
“The Lucky Loan Promotion was an opportunity for members to borrow unsecured money for a much lower interest rate than our other loan products,” said Nancy Long, president of the $40-million credit union.
