AMARILLO, Texas -- As many as 1,000 members of Access CU may notice a mix-up in their June statements from the credit union. As many as 10% of the credit union's 10,000 members received statements that had two accounts mixed together; with account numbers, addresses and transaction reports mixed together.
The mistake was apparently caused by a snafu at the credit union's third-party printer. The credit union is in the process of mailing corrected statements-with an apology to the affected members. The credit union has offered to change the account numbers of affected members and will pay all of the related costs.
