WALTHAM, Mass. – RTN FCU said it will get two new branches, in Brookline and Dorchester, with the recently approved merger of Medical Area FCU in Brookline.
RTN currently operates branches in several greater Boston communities, including Waltham, Amesbury, Danvers, Lawrence, Marlborough and Tewksbury.
The merger of the troubled, $72-million credit union will give RTN almost $800 million in assets.
The merger will be effective Aug. 1.
