Maui CU Builds New Headquarters

LAHAINA, Hawaii – West Maui Community FCU plans to build a two-story commercial building in Lahaina for its new offices.

The new building would more than double the credit union’s space, and it would have a second floor available to a tenant, which would be an opportunity to get rental income. The project’s estimated cost is $3.5 million.

The new building would have 8,581 square feet of space and would be built on a 23,907-square-foot parcel located on the southeast corner of Lahainaluna Road and Honoapiilani Highway. The property has several large mango trees and a small paved parking area.

The $8 million credit union plans to begin construction early next year, with completion expected about a year later.
