Mazuma CU Plans $16-Million Headquarters Project

KANSAS CITY, Mo. Mazuma CU said it expects to spend $15.9 million to build a new home in Overland Park, Kan.

The 60,000-square-foot building, which will house the $490-million credit union’s 100 employees, is being designed by Praxis3 of Atlanta and Level5 LLC.

Construction is expected to begin this month, with the building set to debut in September 2014.

The one-time Federal Employees CU was chartered in 1948. It serves more than 52,000 members in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
