ROCKVILLE, Md. - (07/26/05) -- Student interns have taken over MCTFCU for the summer. The credit union brought in 11 student internsfrom the local Montgomery County Public Schools to learn and workdifferent jobs, including, collections, call center, humanresources, accounting, and tellers. The interns in the brancheswork as tellers-handling cash, cashing checks, and distributingmoney orders. The other interns throughout the various departmentsassist the staff with account reconciliations and other duties.This is the fifth year in a row the credit union, formally known asMontgomery County Teachers FCU, has run the internshipprogram.
