High Peaks Federal Credit Union, based in Dillon, Mont., has converted its core processing to Symitar Episys via a solution owned by Member Driven Technologies.
MDT is a CUSO based in Farmington Hills, Mich.
High Peaks FCU was established in December 1997 as the result of a merger of Dillon Federal Credit Union, Dillon, Mont., and Tobacco Root FCU in Whitehall, Mont. The $22 million credit union serves 3,500 members via three full-service locations in Dillon, Whitehall and Sheridan.
Tammy Hatfield, president and CEO of High Peaks FCU, said the credit union was very pleased with the conversion experience.
"We cannot say enough about how wonderful the MDT project manager and conversion team is," Hatfield said in a statement. "Initially, we were very nervous of the whole conversion idea. We are a smaller credit union with limited staff and so all the training and meetings were overwhelming at times, but MDT held our hands through the entire process and made the whole conversion go very smoothly. They were always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. Thanks, MDT."
Member Driven Technologies is a CUSO founded by a group of Michigan credit unions in early 2003. It says its "hybrid" business model gives credit unions "the ability to create the best experience possible for their members." MDT hosts and deploys the Symitar Episys core processing platform, and offers dozens of other products and services.
MDT says it currently serves clients in 28 states, performing the processing for credit unions with more than 1.8 million members and combined assets of $19.6 billion.
