MONETT, Mo. — Financial services technology provider Jack Henry & Associates Inc., along with its Symitar division, are joint recipients of the Business Partner of the Year Award from Member Driven Technologies.
Farmington Hills, Mich.-based Member Driven Technologies is a CUSO that serves credit unions in 28 states and performs the processing for 1.8 million members with combined assets of $18.9 billion. MDT hosts and deploys the Symitar Episys core processing platform exclusively to its members, as well as complementary products and services from other Jack Henry & Associates divisions.
The companies said they have had a successful partnership for the past 13 years. MDT said a "mutual commitment" to developing and delivering beneficial solutions to the financial industry were key factors in the selection process for the award.
"From the time MDT was founded in 2003 as a seven-owner CUSO, to the 82 credit unions we work with today, both Jack Henry & Associates and its Symitar division have understood our passion for offering continuously evolving, innovative products and excellent client service," Larry Nichols, president and CEO of Member Driven Technologies, said in a statement.
MDT said Business Partner of the Year Award recipients are measured on criteria that include the business partner's:
- Ability to demonstrate a commitment to improving products and services to enhance the customer experience;
- Presence as an industry thought leader with solid knowledge of the business and the markets in which it works, both with regard to current issues and future trends; and
- Consistent display of the characteristics of a successful organization that employs business practices in alignment with MDT's four strategic drivers: service, security, people, and growth.
Billings FCU Chooses Episys
MDT said the latest credit union to go live on the Symitar Episys core processing platform via MDT's CUSO solution is Billings, Mont.-based Billings Federal Credit Union.
"The Episys platform, together with other Jack Henry & Associates offerings such as NetTellerand iPay Solutions, provide a huge value for the Billings FCU membership," said the credit union's CEO Tom Boos. "The benefits to our members, integration of services, and increased efficiency for staff were critical components of our selection process and we believe that MDT and Symitar can best fulfill those needs."
