The new building will be three stories, about 15,900 square feet and will house the credit union's corporate offices. Estimated cost is $3.9 million. The new building will be constructed using green building practices and sustainable design.

The current two-story building was built in 1985 and is about 24,900 square feet. That building will continue to serve as a branch office on the first floor and will be used to store records and for back office support on the second floor.

The credit union has seen its assets grow from $350 million a year ago to $430 million. In January 2008, the credit union had about 500 new members join, but in recent months that figure has jumped to an average of 800 to 900 new members a month.
