HOUSTON Members Choice CU is now using the Leadership System training program from Rise Performance Group to ensure its top executives are strategically focused as the credit union continues its rapid growth.
Rise Performance Group said it will be delivering the Leadership System training throughout 2013 to the C-level management of Members Choice CU. The company said its Leadership System is a multi-module program aimed at developing and maintaining sound leadership fundamentals that when consistently reinforced drive incremental improvements in performance by nurturing a culture of high performers.
“With the kind of robust growth we have had, it has created some unique challenges for us. We realized we needed a concerted effort in training and development,” said Steve Gilman, president of the $450-million credit union. “We want our C-level executives to focus on strategic leadership at the highest level. This is part of an overall commitment to provide the training necessary for today’s challenges.”
